Yesterday I read this book called Witches Convent by Powerone. It was way too harsh for me. The day before that I read Corrupting the Young by M. Young. Ugh. Snuff sex. I've got to stop starting things on a whim like that.
The two booksfree books I just read were:
The Worst Hard Times by Timothy Egan, the Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Dust Bowl. Really interesting account of the dirty thirties. A few parts got skmnned. 4.5 stars.
Changing Times by Marilu Mann. Paranormal erotica. It was pretty boring. 2 stars.
Three Sinful Wishes by R.G. Alexander. 3 interconnected erotic paranormal stories. Excellent! 4 stars.
My Kindle Lending Library book of the month was In Her Sights by Robin Perini. Now that one was worth reading. Excellent romantic suspense. 5 stars.
The Gate by Kaitlyn O'Connor. I love this author, but this was a little disappointing. 3 stars.
I've also read a few short Amazon freebies and deleted them without making a record. I have to stop doing that. I have so many good books to read. The problem is, when faced with a plate of food, I save the best for last. Eat up the unpleasant items first. Then savor the good stuff. That is really NOT a good attitude to take toward books.
